Cadet Rated Legends Show

Following the tragic death of Grime artist Cadet, his family and friends pulled together to put on the Rated Legends Show live from Brixton Academy. The goal was to raise money for a fan picked worthy cause through gig ticket sales and donations. With over 25 performers and a sold out Brixton crowd, this night was a massive undertaking.

Given the reason for this gig, it was important for us to direct, shoot and live stream it in the best possible way for his fans. Our multi camera crew and Outside Broadcast vehicle took care of the filming, while YouTube were able to white list the stream channel for one night to make sure every performer could be heard without copyright concerns. The night finished with a headline performance from Stormzy and every artist back on stage to sing an emotional Happy Birthday on what would have been cadets 29th.

These guys have been brilliant from beginning to end. I needed one man and a camera for a simple Q&A recording and not a huge amount of money to do it. Karma were the only company of three who responded immediately to my brief, talked to me about what we needed and fulfilled our objectives (and MORE) within our budget. Monique was so efficient. I own a boxing promotion in London and we live-stream our events online to our worldwide audience. We use Karma for all our shows and they out do themselves everytime! Each time we deal/talk directly with the same team member who has a technical background and already knows what we want each time and exactly how to execute it himself; no 'back and forth-ing' between different departments. They use an array of different industry standard equipment, same equipment that would be used for any terrestrial TV sports production. Every job is well manned, never seems like they are under staffed or cutting corners to save money. Very affordable considering the magnitude of each job and they're always making good will gestures and looking after us as if we are a brand new client. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
