Burna Boy At The SSE Arena, Wembley –

Last Sunday we had the privilege of live streaming Burna Boy to his Facebook page at the SSE Arena Wembley. The event was a total triumph with Burna Boy being the first African artist to sell out the venue not only this but on the same night he won the award for Best African Act’ at the 2019 MTV EMA’s so it was truly a night to remember for the king of Afrobeats.

We were lucky enough to work with Burna Boy last year at the O2 Academy Brixton which was a tremendous occasion in itself but last Sunday another level was reached entirely, whether it was the 12,500 capacity crowd or the 25ft gorilla dominating the stage, not to mention Burna’s commanding stage presence. The concert was something to behold, the crowd were not only treated to the ever impressive Burna Boy but special guests Stormzy & Dave.

From our perspective we were approached by our friends at Atlantic Records and were asked to deliver the same calibre live stream as Brixton but on a much bigger scale, challenge accepted. All in all, we had fourteen cameras ranging from wireless pit and stage cameras to a 24ft jimmy jib, 21 crew on site and enough cabling to circle the globe twice.

During the live stream there were 5.5K viewers at any one one time and to date there has been 161K views which is growing daily, not bad for a Sunday evening, I have no doubt with his ever growing popularity he will be selling out the O2 in a year’s time. It was a fantastic event and something we are very proud to be a part of.

We love music here and Karma so if you have any concerts or music videos you would like to be captured then please do not hesitate to contact us.
